New Journal Editor Takes Over:
Melvin Adelman, in the Fall of 2002, became the sixth editor of the Journal of Sport History. He follows in the footsteps of the first five:

Jack Berryman, 1978-84, U. of Washington,
Steve Riess, 1985-92, Northeastern Illinois U.,
Joe Arbena, 1993-96, Clemson U.,
Dave Wiggins, 1996-2002, George Mason U.

Adelman and his new JSH technical assistant, Jodee Dyreson, Ph.D. in history, are attempting to get the JSH back on a timely publishing schedule, which recently has been about a year behind.
