Maxwell L. Howell, 1927 - 2014

Max Howell, a former president of NASSH, and a long-time supporter of our organization, passed away on 3 February 2014. A keen sportsman and player for the Australian National Rugby Team, Max was also instrumental in the establishment of the sport history research program at the University of Alberta in the 1970s.
