NASSH-L is an electronic discussion list primarily -- but not exclusively -- for members of the North American Society for Sport History. Its purpose is to facilitate the dissemination of the annual call for papers, convention information, and other important activities of NASSH. In keeping with the purpose of NASSH, the mailing list seeks to promote, stimulate, and encourage study and research and writing of the history of sport. All NASSH members are encouraged to join, but anyone who is committed to the promotion of research in and teaching of the history of sport, exercise and physical activity is invited to subscribe. There is no charge. The Officers of the society may use the list to post information about NASSH activities but all subscribers are encouraged to post anything that might be of interest to the membership - news, information, ideas, concerns, opinions, etc. Anything posted to the list is automatically distributed to every subscriber on the list, and anyone is welcome to reply, either personally to the original sender or publicly to the list . While it is quite acceptable simply to read messages from others, we do hope that subscribers will make use of the list to communicate with fellow subscribers. Access to the list is restricted to subscribers.
Subscriptions to the NASSH mailing list (courtesy of the University of Windsor) can be managed here. Enter the required information and follow the instructions on the page to subscribe or unsubscribe.
